Kalau tak mahu tulang, pakai ayam pun tak apa. What you need is the dripping (jus).



Kalau guna ayam, gravy dia pucat skit lah. Tapi kalau guna tulang daging, som som dia lah that will give the brown color. Kat sini orang tak bubuh bawang goring, tapi mushroom ada lah.



Basic recipe dia : (makes about 1 cup gravy)



2 T dripping (fat & juice)

2 T flour

1 cup liquid (use up the rest of the dripping or use chicken stock kalu tak dapat banyak dripping)



Lebih bagus buat gravy ni dalam bekas yang baker tulang tu. The brown stuff that gets stuck on the pan is the best part. It will give the color and flavor. So curah kan all the dripping in other bowl. Leave 2 T on the pan, and on low heat, stir in tepung. Stir constatntly until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in the 1 cup liquid. Put back on heat until boiling. Stir constantly. So kalu ko nak bubuh bawang goring, bila dah siap tu boleh lah tabor agak nye.



Kalau baker turkey tu dalam oven, dapat banyak jugak dripping dia. So I imagin kalau baker tulang je, maybe dapat skit je. So gunalah chicken stock. Yang paling important jangan buang all brown stuff yang melekat kat roasting pan tu.

norie, simple nye. betul ni sedap. nak try nanti. tapi nanti gravy tu tak gelaplah colornye. takkan nak taruk pepper byk2.



my kids suka western food. tapi anak melayu jati. kadang2 masak spagh, pizza, lasagne. dia org sukalah. kalau lauk melayu ni, suka masak lemak pucuk paku, ayam goreng. sambal but not sambal udang.



azah, memang nak tanya azah resepi. so if u cook for them, azah buat camna punye? ingat nak cuba gak buat gravy yg kena bake tulang tu dulu , tapi nak pi pasar keramat beli tulang tu malas. anyway, tak payah bawang ke azah. bila dah letak atas stove tu, campur bwg goreng sampai brownish then masukkan tepung. guna chicken stock tak? pas tu kalau nak campur mushroom pun bolehkan.



dah telan air liur pulak . kena cuba jugak. norie punya resepi pun nak cuba jugak.

I pernah buat cam ni...mushroom soup + black pepper powder..sedap gak..nak senang beli gravy yg dah siap..kat supermarket manyak. I ada buat collection resepi fr restoren pak amir..kena cari dulu la..maklum la, collect je tapi tak try pun

Silap-silap kau pi carrefour ke giant ke ada yg dlm packet. Cuba pi try tengok. Kalau nak from scratch kau cuba masuk www.bhg.com, pi ke recipe centre and search. Mcm2 recipe kau blh dapat and boleh pakai jugaklah!

ada chef ajar tapi payah sgt. tulang lembu lemak dll di bake dulu. guna minyak dia tu buat gravy. susah sgt. sapa2 yg terer tu share2 lah sikit.
